In TS a column is defined as any vertically aligned segment. The
“Column” tool can be found on both tab pages “Steel”
and “Concrete”, having different sets of characteristics. Thus
steel and concrete drawings are different.
Note that a beam drawn up vertically is automatically converted to a column
in Tekla Structures. In the advanced settings menu, it is possible
to set up the inclination angle value defining a beam conversion to a column.
